How does number porting work?

From your perspective, porting a phone number is an incredibly easy process. You just order your SIM, activate it online and wait for us to finish things on the back end. If you’re curious about how we do it, we basically get in touch with your current telco and agree to take responsibility for your phone number. Then it’s just a matter of switching the provider to us and it’s done!

How to transfer a phone number to another phone?

If you’re staying with your provider but switching phones, transferring your phone number is as simple as removing the SIM card from the old device and placing it in the new one.

If you’re switching to us and getting a new phone in the process, it’s just as easy. Let us know and we’ll send you a new SIM card to put in your new phone and activate online with your existing phone number.

Porting your phone number to Circles.Life

It takes seconds to port your number to Circles.Life. Here’s how to do it:

1. Order your SIM online and choose Transfer Number at the Checkout.
2. Activate it online once it arrives in the post.

That’s all there is to it. No, we’re not joking. Sit back and eat some candy while we finish things on our end – it’ll be up and running in no time. We finalize it overnight, so you don’t have any service disruption, but we give you a temporary number anyway so you can get stuck into your data in the meantime.

Just remember:
• Make sure you’re out of contract with your current telco.
• Don’t terminate your number yet, we’ll tell them for you.

Transferring your number with eSIM

If you’re a fancy pants trendsetter who uses eSIM, we applaud you!

Porting your phone number is still easy as pie, and you don’t need to wait for postage to get started. Just make sure your phone supports eSIM, choose your plan and activate it online with the QR code we emailed to you. Simple!
