Pre-orders began on September 12, with availability starting September 19. For a complete breakdown of confirmed specs and features, explore our iPhone 17 launch blogs here below:

What do we know about the new iPhone 15?

Sticking to Apple’s tradition, the iPhone 15 is expected to debut in September. But if you’re urgently looking for a new device and would rather sit out on the new iPhone 15, check out Circles.Life's extensive range of available devices here.

As with previous releases, we’d most likely see the following variants: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The Pro variants will also boast some exclusive features.

What’s more, it’s rumoured that the iPhone 15 might shift from stainless steel to titanium, making it sturdier and lighter, though possibly pricier due to production complexities.

What size is it set to be?

The iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro should mirror their predecessors: 6.7 inches and 6.1 inches, respectively. A sleeker look is anticipated with slimmer, curved bezels, maximising screen space. CAD sketches of the iPhone 15 Pro Max also hint that it might be slightly bulkier than its 14 Pro Max predecessor, with a bigger camera module. The camera lenses seem to be 2X bigger than the iPhone 14, which promises better photo quality.

What additional features is the iPhone 15 expected to have?

All iPhone 15 models are expected to feature the dynamic island, previously seen in the iPhone 14 Pro, displaying notifications, music playback, Apple Pay alerts, and low-battery warnings. There's talk about Apple rearranging some phone sensors, which could change how this dynamic island functions. Button-wise, solid-state buttons might be ditched. However, Pro versions could feature an "action button", reminiscent of the Apple Watch Ultra, potentially doubling as a mute button or customisable for other purposes.

The camera remains as the iPhone’s most prominent feature. Expect a 48MP camera like the iPhone 14 Pro, possibly introducing a "three-stacked" sensor for enhanced photo quality. The Pro Max variant might also flaunt a periscope variable zoom camera.

What charger can I expect?

The iPhone 15 may transition to a USB-C charger, aligning with the rising standard among devices. Although Apple's lightning port has been iconic, the shift comes in light of the European Union's mandate for all phones to adopt USB-C by 2024.

Will the iPhone 15 feature new colours?

For those who fancy a fresh shade, it’s rumoured that Apple might introduce a deep red hue. Other colours that may be on the cards include light blue, pink, and cyan. Additionally, the devices could showcase a frosted glass back as opposed to the previous glossy finish.
