As the leading no-contract plan provider in Singapore, home-grown telco Circles.Life gives customers what they’ve always wanted: limitless data.
Singapore, 7 March 2017 – Circles.Life, Singapore’s fourth postpaid operator and the only digital telco, announced its Data Plus option offer of 20GB for S$20, making it the largest ever no- contract data plan under S$50 available in the market today.
In just over six months since the full commercial launch, Circles.Life has reinvented the local market and has become the leading provider of no-contract plans in Singapore. Living up to its promise of putting the customer experience at the forefront, Circles.Life continues to bring innovation and choice to the Singaporean telco customer.
20GB for S$20
With the 20GB Data Plus option, Circles.Life plans to win over even more of its target market of data savvy customers, fulfilling the final and the biggest gap in the telco market.
New subscribers can opt for the 20GB Data Plus option on top of their Base Plan of S$28/month for up to 6GB of mobile data, upon sign-up on the Circles.Life website. Current Circles.Life customers on the Base Plan, will simply be able to add on the 20GB Data Plus option via the CirclesCare app. This means both new and existing customers will have up to 26GB for only S$48/month. This is on-top of any Unlimited Bonus Data customers may have accrued.
Rameez Ansar, Circles.Life Co-Founder and Director said, “Circle.Life was created with one mission: to give power back to the customers. We do this by creating an unparalleled customer experience and providing innovative products for data-savvy customers. Singaporean customers have always wanted more data and we have given them the 20GB for S$20 Data Plus option.”
Circles.Life has already introduced many industry firsts such as free caller ID, free Unlimited WhatsApp, Unlimited Bonus Data – in a direct response to customer needs. This new Data Plus option puts Circles.Life in a strong market position versus incumbents and any new entrants.
“We are already the leading no-contract mobile plan in Singapore. Circles.Life believes innovation and an unwavering focus on the customer is key to entering and winning any telco market. In Singapore, we are on track to achieving a high single digit market share within a few years,” said Rameez.
Given the proven success of the digital, infrastructure light model in Singapore, Circles.Life has received numerous requests from regional telco players to expand in their respective countries. While we are in conversations with multiple parties, Circles.Life has finalized expansion plans for 2017 with Indonesia and Hong Kong as the next target markets.
To head international expansion and operations, Circles.Life has brought in Donald Chan as the new Director of International. Donald was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Clifford Capital, a specialist provider of structured finance solutions established with support of the Government of Singapore. Donald had previously worked for Temasek Holdings and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Peng T. Ong, a prominent tech investor, noted, “Circles.Life’s digital platform has leveraged the latest technology to reinvent the telco stack. This innovative Singapore-built model has tremendous scalability to other markets and it’s great to have someone like Donald leading it.”
