Sign up for a Circles.Life plan

Let us know during your signup that you want to keep your existing number. You’ll just need to provide a few details about your number.

Initiate your transfer

After you receive your SIM card, initiate the transfer of your number using the link we sent to your email! You can also head here to initiate the transfer.

Chill out while we get your transfer sorted

After you initiate the transfer, we’ll be working hard behind the scenes to get your existing number transferred to Circles.Life.

You won’t need to do anything. Have your Circles.Life SIM card handy so that you can switch your SIM cards once your transfer is complete!

You’ll need to be the owner of the number to request for its transfer to Circles.Life.

Postpaid numbers
If you have a postpaid number, you’ll need to provide your account number during your signup. You can typically find this in your bills.

How to tell if your number is postpaid/prepaid: You have a postpaid number if you typically pay for your monthly mobile bills at the end of your billing cycle.

Prepaid numbers
If you have a prepaid number, the date of birth you provide during your signup will need to match with the date of birth attached to the number you’re transferring.

How to tell if your number is postpaid/prepaid: You have a prepaid number if you pay for your mobile bills upfront and you recharge your plans.

Make sure your number is active! Only active numbers can be transferred.

If your mobile phone is locked to a particular network, you may need a new mobile phone or have the mobile phone unlocked if you are porting between different mobile networks.

If you initiate your port-in during operating hours, your number transfer will be completed within 4 hours.

However, do note that if you’re with a telco powered by the Optus Network, transfers can take up to 48 hours.

*Transfers do not happen on Sundays, New Year’s, Australia Day, Good Friday, Anzac Day or Christmas Day.

We don’t do transfer fees, but if you’re still locked into your contract, we’d recommend waiting for it to end before transferring your number. However, if you’re happy to pay the early termination fees, reach out to your current telco to find out what that amount will be!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Transfers generally take up to 48 hours to complete. After you initiate your transfer, the process will be started during porting operating hours.

Porting operating hours:

     – 8AM to 8PM on Weekdays

     – 10AM to 6PM on Saturdays and Public Holidays*

Transfers do not happen on Sundays.

All you have to do is sit back and wait for your Circles.Life SIM card to arrive. You’ll receive an email with an activation link. Once you’ve received your Circles.Life SIM card, click on the activation link in the email we sent you and initiate the transfer of your number after logging into ‘Manage Orders’ with your birth date and Circles.Life mobile number. You can continue using your existing SIM card until the transfer is complete. 

The transfer will take between 4 – 48 hours depending on which telco you’re transferring your number from. Refer to the FAQ above for more details on that!

Nope! We do the termination for you – so you don’t have to do anything. Just make sure your service with your current telco is currently active!
